Engagement & Wedding in NEW YORK CITY

Tina and Jason wanted their engagement session to be as convenient for them as possible! We decided on their rooftop, in a city as big as NEW YORK, we had all the privacy in the world!
Their Ceremony and party was at the famous TAVERN ON THE GREEN and we were able to make photos on the streets of NYC before hand!

Wedding at BEAKWITH POINT

We met Brandi and Joe at their High School Reunion where they saw us in action. They
had their wedding at the beautiful Beckwith Point in New Rochelle where the rain held out just long enough for the ceremony to still be outdoors and the photography too!

LIGHT PAINTING

When I feel creative, I grab my QUANTUM Q Flash, some colored gels, maybe some flashlights and take off looking for someplace dark where I can light things with my own colors!! I enjoy the spontaneous nature of this art and working with what is before me. When the exposure ranges anywhere from 5 minutes to one hour, it's hard for me to find a subject who will sit for me twice, BUT I have had some incredible luck with finding the image in one take! (Before I went digital it would take weeks to finish a roll, then get it developed and wait to see the results!) Sometimes my subjects are total strangers on the street who happen to ask me what I am doing (I.E. THE PROPOSAL) I know there are plenty of folks out there who say why bother at all because with PHOTOSHOP these things can be done much faster but there is a certain satisfaction in putting your skills and experience into play!

HIGH SCHOOL REUNIONS

Thanks to the internet, I'm not as busy photographing reunions! Seems like people are finding their old friends online and connecting more and more outside of reunions. Case in point 3 0r 4 years ago I did 65 reunions the next year it dropped to 45 and since then I've been doing about 20 a year. They are still happening but when there are only 25 attendees showing up it's not worth it for me. These are the kind of events that we set up a small studio, try to photograph every living body, show 'em how great they look, take their money and print out on site. Everyone goes home happy and these kind of parties are so much fun to do! It's all done really fast but If I can shoot you, I can sell you! Here's some pics from a ten year reunion, these days I'm doing more 50 year reunions, seems alot of those attendees don't know how to use the internet!

THE NYC ARTS CYPHER

The NYC Arts Cypher is an organization that promotes positive values through arts and entertainment programs, projects, and events. This talented group is headed by the infamous
CHARLIE B. who manages and guides the youth of the inner city and together they come up with some pretty interesting shows and exhibits. STAY TUNED...

Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition

BWAC is the largest Artist run organization in NEW YORK!
The exhibition space is 25,000 square feet in a wonderful Civil War era brick warehouse on a pier in RedHook. Usually 200/300 Artists participate and showcase over 1000 pieces of affordable art ranging from 50 to 5000 dollars each! The space was donated to the Artists
and by working together they put forth their vision and the place has become a huge
tourist attraction... Staten island should be so lucky!

The STATEN ISLAND BUCKS business Network is made up of 70 Business owners, when we have a Board meeting it's not your typical stuffy Board meeting. This time it was on Murray Berman's Yacht, just in time to catch the fireworks! Good thing cause i missed them on July Fourth!
Angelina is Baptized! It's such a pleasure to work with the same families again, Gina and Gus were married in 2003 and now baby makes three. I also have photographed many of their friends and families events. Angelina had no idea she was about to go for a swim! She thought she already had her bath for the day!

Model meet up

I attended my first Model/Photographer/Hair & Make Up networking meeting at the Bayonne
Arts Factory and it was a blast! Set up by SnapMup.com, it's a wonderful way to get to know
others that you can work with!
