Always a pleasure to photograph a friends weddings. Something to look forward to, something to enjoy, something to cherish. Even with hundreds of guests, weddings are private and intimate affairs, each photographer chosen feel honored and privileged to be trusted enough by new clients to be part of the happiest day of their life.  In the case of a close associate you know the communication is already there,
so everyone being relaxed is a given.  Sara was a wonderful, beautiful and very happy bride.  The grounds of the ALICE AUSTEN MUSEUM is like a second home to her as she is the Director of Services there.  Very fitting as the house of Staten Island's most famous photographer was host to a fabulous party to celebrate someone who loves photography and her new love, husband Joe Tacopino.  Alice would have approved.

The Forest Avenue BID is a vital commercial corridor in West Brighton. The surrounding community is well established with many old Victorian style homes, cultural centers and parks.

The Forest Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) extends from Hart Boulevard to Broadway. Forest Avenue merchants and property owners choose to be a part of a collaborative effort to provide seervices and sponsor special events. This is what unites them as a Business Improvement District. All services provided by the BID are the result of investment by the merchants and property owners within the BID. The BID's primary purpose is to improve business on Forest Avenue.

Remember-Successful Businesses Make Great Neighbors!

I'm proud to say that I readily donate my services to the BID and here is some photos from our Annual Meeting at LiGreci's Staaten.

With beautiful weather, beautiful models and a beautiful location, The Central Region of www.PPANJ.com had their annual shoot out at the wonderful Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ.  We were allowed to shoot inside and outside and then enjoyed a wine tasting to top off the evening.

While at first I was a little disappointed that I was only capturing routine and run-of-the-mill model pictures and poses, I do believe that the black and white photo with the logs is classic and worthy and can belong in one of my finer collections.  I am also very happy with the last image, I think you can see it in her eyes that by this time she was relaxed and trusting enough to connect with the photographer in the fashion I desire... Or maybe it was just the wine...LOL
