Richmond University Medical Center presents the 2012 JACK SIPP Golf & Tennis Outing.  Two shotgun starts ( the first at 8 am )  the one I photographed started at 1 pm and had 24 foursomes!
The evening main event honored Dr. Michael Mantello and Colleen Kelleher Sorrentino and featured fine dining and award presentations to the most skilled golfers and tennis players.

Soon as I got out of the car In Stapleton, Staten Island to photograph for the Partnership for Parks I noticed activity that reminded me of Union Square Park in NYC.

The NYC Partnership for Parks works to strengthen support and start neighborhood park groups.
Volunteers and kids clean, rake and plant in garden areas throughout TAPPEN PARK in Staten Island.
   Friends of Historic Tappen ParkEden 2, 150th Civil War Anniversary Committee,  Concerned Mothers of Stapleton, Staten Island, Kamillah Hanks and friends and especially the kids all worked together to beautify the community.
