STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With the history of Italy spanning more than 3,000 years, Italian style and design have become world renowned in everything from art, classic architecture and contemporary fashion to fine furniture, fast cars and stylish motorcycles.

One could say that Italians are positively passionate for life, and their artistic and cultural heritage often manifests itself in their inherent love of fine wine, fresh food and special affection for time-honored traditions.

So then, if you’re Italian — or simply can’t help love all things Italian — you won’t want to miss Motori D’Italia, an exotic Italian car and motorcycle show which will be the highlight of the annual Festa D’Italia at Casa Belvedere, the Italian Cultural Center, on Grymes Hill.

Sometimes I get called in just to shoot and print portraits and another photographer (in this case my friend Vikas) runs around with the bride all day.   This affair had over 400 guests so I guess he had a lot of running around to do...LOL!

I love weddings, each one is totally different...  of course when I am shooting for my friends or family
I cannot help but feel like I want to do even more for them.  For Lauren and Erik I brought a second shooter (whose edits I have not even seen yet) and I know my friends will be overjoyed when they realize how many images they will be getting.

Sean, Cole and Addie came from South Carolina to visit THE BIG CITY.  The planned it for months, down to the last detail.  They were going to to sightsee the Empire State Building, Times Square, The Bronx Zoo and be photographed by FINE ART FOTOS.  The free trip on the World Famous Staten Island Ferry was a worthwhile bonus and now they have photos to add to their memories.

Melissa and Shane live in Texas but came back to Staten Island to get married where they grew up.
The bride found me on the internet and called me 2 hours before her ceremony to say her photographer cancelled.   " I guess you didn't hire a professional " I said and she replied " Yes I did, she was referred to me by the School of Visual Arts "  I just had to ask what they were paying her, once I found out I knew why the photog cancelled !?!  only kidding, a true professional would never back out after they agreed or signed a contract- was there even a contract!?!   Anyway I helped them out the best I could by photographing the ceremony, the families formals and the bridal party on the boardwalk at South beach.   After that I was off to a wedding of my own.
